Fair play was an English magazine published by the Bulgarian WAD as member of the KARAT coalition (a network organisation of various women's rights NGOs in Central and Eastern Europe, based in Warsaw/Poland); emphasis on women's rights and situation of women in Central and Eastern European countries, equality, development, economic equality, violence, feminist news, art/literature, info about Women's organisations in various countries etc. WAD also published a Bulgarian magazine called Жарава - Zharava

Ten years ago, on June 2001, in Genoa at San Giorgio Palace, the women network (who at that time joined the World March of Women) started the agenda of political events and rallies of Genoa Social Forum with an international meeting titled Punto G: gender and globalization – For an equal, democratic, fair, supporting and peaceful society of women and men, that ended with a demonstration in the centre of the city.

The association Il Paese delle Donne was founded in 1987, is based at the Casa Internazionale delle Donne in Rome and promotes women's policies by running a publishing house, their webzine and an archive, organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, networking activities etc. Since 1987 they also have been publishing the Foglio del paese delle donne (print)
