"Ladyfest Baltimore is a grassroots community-based movement created by and for women to present, celebrate, and encourage women's artistic, entrepreneurial, and cultural achievements. This festival will happen through a series of volunteer-coordinated events, which will feature skill shares, workshops, speakers, music, visual/performance art, film, writings, and other forms of self expression. The proceeds will be donated to various women empowering organizations in Baltimore. There will be numerous opportunities for people to organize, volunteer and participate.

Ladyfest East happened from 29th of October to 1st of November 2004.

"Ladyfest South is a non-profit, Southern-based, four-day festival that showcases, celebrates, and promotes the artistic, organizational, and political talents of women in order to raise money for social service projects that assist women. Ladyfest South occurred in 2002 and 2004; and benefited organizations such as Project Safe in Athens, Georgia; Refuge House in Tallahassee, Florida; DeKalb Rape Crisis Center; Women's Resource Center to girl_singingEnd Domestic Violence; Youth Pride in Atlanta, Rock'n'Roll Camp for Girls, and Fund for Southern Communities.

" What is Ladyfest?

Ladyfest is a platform for cultural and political activities of women, queers, transgenders, intersex folk: a gathering for LADIES OF ALL GENDERS for whom it is often not so obvious to find a platform for their (creative) work. It is a D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) event. It is organized by volunteers in their spare time as well as on a non-profit-level. Working together and sharing ideas-the whole process of organizing this event and the idea of community-is as much part of Ladyfest as the event itself.

"Ladyfest Italia

"Ladyfest is an internationally linked, locally organised festival that celebrates women in music, the arts and politics. Ladyfest Brisbane will run from September 8-11, during which time we plan to hold exhibitions of photography and other art; film screenings; forums and workshops related to women in art, media, fashion, music, politics etc; music events including at least one all-ages gig; and a market-style art, craft, 'zine, bake fair.
