Statement:
I’m a feminist activist based in the North UK. I started this blog to publicise feminist actions in the UK. I started with campaigning against lads mags and have since broadened out to include wider issues. When I was new to feminism, I desperately wanted to get involved in feminist actions, but not living in London, this was hard. I couldn’t find much on the net, which made me realise how dispirate media is on feminist actions compared to other movements. The aim of the blog is to celebrate feminist activism, to inform people of actions they can get involved in and to inspire women to take action in whatever way works for them. And importantly, endeavour to keep women’s herstory alive. No one can ever say the feminist movement is dead!
