Candies and Whims Translation/Publication Project - Educational Discussions

Candies and Whims Translation/Publication Project shoots on translation and publication of anarchist/ feminist/ gender/ queer/ mental health and radical texts/ zines/ publications from English language into Filipino language with the aim of publicizing it and distributing it freely into the public or local community, through a language they can grasps, understand and feel connected with, giving them access over readings that cannot be found nor offered by the standard commercial educational system, promoting self-education towards liberation, resistance and freedom.

We are a group of feminist activists from France, Canada, Morocco, Germany, Tunisia and Spain who met during the World Social Forum in Tunis in March 2013. We participated in several feminist mobilizations (for example, equal pay, sexual and reproductive rights, against gender-based violence, etc.) and we are now working together to connect feminist activists, movements, organizations, and networks around the world through the construction of an international network.

FEL: Feministisch en Links

FEL is a grassroots feminist action and education/discussion group based in the Belgian city Gent. In 2009 FEL grew out of FAB (Feministische ActieBende), a feminist collective that doesn't exist anymore. FEL means Feministisch En Links: feminist and left.

FEL is a group of enthusiastic feminists who work on several themes. We take action (for example Take Back The Night), write editorial letters, give workshops and lectures and we have a reading group.
