The Google Anita Borg Scholarship for Female Bachelor, Master and PhD students

Deadline: 1 February 2012
Open to: female students enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters or PhD programme of computer science (or equivalent) in 2012/2013 at a University in Europe, the Middle East or Africa
Scholarship: €7,000

The scholarship aims to encourage women to excel in computing and technology, and become active role models and leaders.

Digitales meetings in Brussels were a project by the Belgian network ADA - Femmes et IT/Vrouwen en IT to "stimulate women’s action in contemporary society and bring awareness of the concept of gender to the debates on new technologies" through workshops, conferences, symposia, etc. Between 2001 and 2006 four Digitales meetings took place. The Digitales Archives now provide access to all material (articles, interviews, videos etc.) produced during these four Digitales meetings; emphasis on new technology, cyberfeminism, women and IT, education/training etc.
