Founded in 1996, Montreal-based Studio XX is a bilingual feminist artist-run centre for technological exploration, creation and critique.

Studio XX’s mandate focuses on enabling the creative actions and perspectives of women at the forefront of contemporary technological landscapes and the development of a digital democracy that values autonomy and collaboration.

We are a grassroots feminist media collective operating out of Vancouver BC. The F Word Radio Show has been on air since 2007.

We operate from the following principles and values:

* We seek to facilitate feminist dialogue in the community and use media as a foundation for positive social change
* We acknowledge media as a primary mode of cultural communication and we hope to open a space for alternative feminist dialogue that does not exist in mainstream media

Women’s Parliamentary Radio, an online radio station designed to give exclusive coverage to women’s issues and female parliamentarians in the UK. www.wpradio.co.uk was founded in 2007 and currently receives up to 56,000 hits per month. Our aim is to give exclusive coverage to women’s issues in government and provides a platform for female politicians to speak free from stereotypes and the pressure of the news agenda.
